strategy

This project aimed to design a website that not only showcased Ethan’s personality but offered an intuitive system for ordering his books, which are often available on multiple platforms.

Other objectives included creating a way for Ethan to connect with and respond to his audience and making his website personal to him.

To achieve these objectives, I designed a blog section for Ethan to connect with his audience and a review section for his fans to contribute and respond to their favorite books. I also incorporated his branded orange color throughout the website to ensure instant recognizability, even making the logo from his own hand-drawn signature.

Below are screenshots from the final website, focusing on the Homepage, Books page, and About page.

a million ways
to order

Based on feedback from the client, I designed buttons for each ordering platform available for books, ensuring an easy way to order. The SHOP button on the navigation menu and blog page also brings users to Cooley’s main shopping page for merch and more.

user interactivity: reviews

Providing ways for fans to interact with the website’s content and put their mark was an essential aspect of the project. To achieve this, I included a simple review system where the audience could leave a review on each book.
